12 miles. STRENUOUS. Depart from G & R at 7:30 AM (65 miles to trailhead.) THIS IS A SHUTTLE HIKE, SO WE NEED CARS. From Martic Forge, we follow Pequea Creek southwest to the Susquehanna River. Fine views of Lake Aldred Gorge, deep wooded glens, large rock formations. Several long arduous climbs. Bring boots, lunch and water. All hikers must contact leader to register for this hike.
