14 miles. Depart G & R at 7:30 AM (80 miles to trailhead.) We will hike on a variety of trails in this National Recreation Area - there will be one steep climb of around 1,000 feet - then pleasant ridge walking, a visit to Sunfish pond, and to finish out the day, a pleasant walk (mostly downhill) along a small mountain stream.
