12 miles. For those using public transportation, take the 101 Septa trolley from 69^th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:25 AM. For those driving, meet at 8:30 in front of Macy's in the front of the Springfield Mall (65 miles to trailhead.) This hike can be enjoyed by all. There are splendid views of the lake, hills to climb and streams to cross. Cost $1.00.
