10 miles. For those using public transportation, take the 101 Septa trolley from 69^th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:25 AM. For those driving, meet at 8:30 in front of Macy's in the front of the Springfield Mall (110 miles to trailhead). Hike in Delaware's largest state park along the bay and ocean with sand dunes, salt marshes and pine woods. Hike can be done in sneakers but there may be a few wet spots. Cost: $1.00.
