6-8 miles. Meet 10:15 AM at State and Orange Streets, Media, endpoint of the 101 trolley arriving at 10:03. These two, new green spaces in nearby Chester County provide easy/moderate hiking in a beautiful, varied farmland setting. Beginning at Rushton Woods Preserve, we'll hike 2 to 3 miles in that preserve, walk just over one mile to Okehocking Preserve and hike another 4 miles there. If we have enough cars, we can set up a shuttle back to Rushton Woods, or we can walk back. Bring lunch and water. Boots recommended because of some very muddy, wet spots. Cost: $1.00.
