STRENUOUS 12-14 miles. Depart 9:00 AM from the small parking lot by the road near the Park Office. Turn into South Entrance Road from Route 345. At the “T”, turn right, go a few hundred yards, turn right just before the Park Office into the small lot next to the road. Hike includes some of the western trails, Scotts Run Lake, Millers Point and Mill Creek. Some hilly, steep and rocky trails. Hike can be modified based on weather and pace of the group. Bring boots, lunch, and water. Contact leader no later than 10:00 PM Friday September 18^th, if requesting transportation to make arrangements. Pickup point is State and Orange Streets in Media (50 miles to trailhead.) From 69^th Street Station, take Media 101 trolley (leaving at 7:00 AM) to arrive at 7:28 at the end of the line at Orange Street in Media (50 miles to trailhead.) Cost: $1.00.
