5-6 miles. Meet at 10:00 AM. Directions: From the intersection of Routes 23 & 345 in Warwick, PA drive north on Route 345 for 3.9 miles (past the entrance to French Creek State Park) to Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site on the left. We’ll use the restrooms there and park. Please note that the hike begins at Hopewell Furnace (not at Shed Road). We’ll do a comfortable "in and out" hike on the Horse-Shoe Trail. Bring lunch and water.There's an opportunity for people to visit Hopewell Furnace on their own and/or eat lunch at the bakery in St. Peter's Village after the hike. Cost: $1.00.
