10-12 miles. For those using public transportation, take the Septa 101 trolley from 69^th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:25 AM. For those driving, meet in front of Macy's in the front of the Springfield Mall at 8:30 AM - or meet at Plymouth Meeting Mall (Near Germantown Pike) at 8:55 AM (85 miles to trailhead.) We will traverse several areas of the park including several small ponds, the Lehigh River, the “Shades of Death Trail” along Hickory Run. Bring lunch, water, and sturdy hiking boots.
