6 miles. Depart from Allen’s Lane Train Station at 7:00 PM (Chestnut Hill West Train arrives at 6:43.) An early evening hike in the beautiful Wissahickon as the daylight turns to dusk. A short walk from the meeting place in Chestnut Hill into the high trails of the park rarely visited. Possibility for refreshments afterwards at a local establishment. Cost $1.00.
