11.2 miles. Meet 9:00 a.m. at the Route 645 AT parking lot, 462-518 Geary Wolfe Rd, Pine Grove, PA 17963 (40.506784, -76.377165). This is a shuttle hike, so cars are needed. We will meet and then drive a few cars over to the start on Route 183 (40°31'37.1"N 76°13'24.8"W, Bethel, PA 19507) and then walk one-way back to our cars. Join us for a Fall hike, as the colors are just starting to come out on the Appalachian Trail. We will hike to six of the best Appalachian Trail views in eastern PA, including the famous Kimmel View, Fisher Lookout, and 500 Shower Steps vistas. This trail has a lot of ups and downs and has about 1,500 feet of total elevation gain, so bring plenty of water and snacks or a lunch at one of the vistas. Hiking boots recommended.
