8 - 10 miles. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot, 1399 Schoff Road, Atlen, PA. (39.91550, -7598674). There is a porta pot in the parking area. Wolf Hollow is a 569-acre county park located in southern Chester County. We will enjoy an 8 to 10-mile hike, which includes a mix of forest trails, some rocky, open fields, and a ridgeline that overlooks the Octoraro Creek. In addition, the park contains historical ruins that date back to the early 1700s, the old Schoff Dam, and the remnants of the 19th century iron industry. The bottomland can be a bit marshy in April, so please wear appropriate boots, and I recommend hiking poles. Pack a lunch/hydration. RSVP required at https://www.meetup.com/Batona-hiking-club/ or by contacting leader. Cost $1.00. Leader: Bambi Auer, 610-864-0929.
