12 miles. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the new parking area (approximately 39.831024, -75.572320) just past the Smithbridge Picnic Area parking lot. Smithbridge Road crosses Rte. 202 just a short distance south of Rt. 1. Go south on Smithbridge Road toward Delaware. Turn left on Brandywine Creek Road, just before the covered bridge. Just past where Beaver Dam Road comes in on your left, you will see a parking lot on your right between the road and the creek. This lot may or may not be open. If open, park there. If not, continue past that lot to a new, very large lot on your left, near the curve of the road. We'll cover well shaded trails through varied terrain, on both sides of Brandywine Creek and along Rocky Run, as we make a series of loops through this beautiful park.
