5-7 miles. Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the new, paved parking lot at Rushton Woods Preserve, 911 Delchester Road, Newtown Square (39.98283,-75.48676) . From Route 3, traveling west, turn right onto Delchester Road and follow it almost to where it comes to a T at Goshen Road. The first turnoff into the preserve is the paved lot. Okehocking and Rushton Woods Preserves provide moderate hiking in a beautiful, varied farmland setting. We will hike 2-3 miles in Rushton Woods, walk just over one mile to Okehocking Preserve, and hike another 4 miles there before returning to Rushton Woods. Bring lunch, snacks, and water.
