A beautiful winter hike in a 1,757-acre park with wonderful views, around Delaware’s largest freshwater pond; wooded areas and fairly level terrain as we hike around the pond on the Swamp Forest Trail. Foul weather or icy conditions cancel hike. Call leader if uncertain. Bring lunch and water. Cost: $1.00. There is no entrance fee to this Delaware park this time of year.
