8–9 miles; total elevation gain of about 1500’. Meet at 10 a.m. at the parking lot on NJ Rt. 29 0.6 miles north of Fiddler’s Creek Rd. (just north of NJ Washington Crossing State Park. Do NOT use the Fiddler’s Creek entrance. We will climb up to a view of the Delaware River on the Switchback Trail (450’ elevation gain) and then make several loops with somewhat smaller gains. Picnic tables with great view of surrounding hills. Trail is rocky in places. Bring water, lunch, appropriate footwear.
