12 miles. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at Smithbridge Picnic Area parking lot (39.834133, -75.575542). Smithbridge Road crosses Rte. 202 just a short distance south of Rt. 1. Go south on Smithbridge Road toward Delaware. Turn left on Brandywine Creek Road, just before the covered bridge. Just past where Beaver Dam Road comes in on your left, you will see a parking lot on your right between the road and the creek. Park at the further end, where it’s shadier in the afternoon. We'll cover well-shaded trails through varied terrain, on both sides of the Brandywine Creek and along Rocky Run, as we make a series of loops through this beautiful park.
