14 miles. Meet the leader at 9:30 a.m. at the Coppermine trailhead parking lot on Old Mine Road, Hartwick Township, 07825 (41°02'16.4"N 75°01'38.9"W). We will hike on a variety of trails in this National Recreation Area. There will be one steep climb of around 1,000 feet to Raccoon Ridge, walk along the ridge and to finish out the day, a pleasant walk (mostly downhill) along a small mountain stream. Bring lunch, water, and sturdy hiking boots. Please have a face mask in your pocket for when social distancing is challenging.
