25+/- miles. Meet at 7:30 AM at Smith Bridge Picnic Area Parking (39.834517, -75.575621) in the First State National Monument adjacent to the Brandywine Creek. This remains a special COVID loop edition covering a respectable portion of BATONA’s traditional hike, with no public transportation required. We will be hiking along trails, roads, fields, and forests. On this traditional Thanksgiving Day hike, we will also see the Brandywine Creek, First State National Monument, Alapocas Woods and the DuPont Estates. Due to the length of this hike, it is considered to be fast paced and strenuous. If you have questions, consult with leader before attempting this hike. After the hike, we are planning on grabbing a Thanksgiving meal at a local diner in Media, PA for those that would like to participate.  Please bring a mask in the event one is required at the diner.
