10-12 miles. Meet at 9:30 AM at the Old Rt. 82 parking area at 2000 Hay Creek Road (40.239180,-75.829908). Follow Rt. 345 north from Rt 23 to Geigertown Road, turn left. Follow Geigertown Road to Mullen Hollow. Turn right onto Mullen Hollow and follow to Hay Creek Road (Old Rte. 82) and turn right onto Hay Creek Road. Follow Hay Creek Road (keep to right at fork) until it dead ends. (Make sure you’re at the very end of the road.) Park along the sides of the road.
Hiking mostly in the shade, we will explore trails on both sides of Hay Creek in this beautiful, varied preserve, including both reservoirs and an old quarry that is now a climbing area. Some wet, muddy areas. A face mask is required and must be worn when social distancing is difficult. Bring lunch and plenty of water.
