10-12 miles. Depart from Benton Avenue just NW of Bustleton Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia at 9:45 AM. Hike trails on both sides of the creek in these pretty urban parks. The majority of the trails are in the shade. The parks are home to and visited by more than 100 species of birds. Bring lunch and water. Lunch will be at the picnic grove in Lorimer Park (picnic tables and restrooms. A face mask is required and must be used when social distancing is difficult.
