DUE TO HEAVY RAIN FORECAST FOR SATURDAY, THIS HIKE IS CANCELLED

12 miles. Join us for a loop hike on the Batona and Mullica River trails out of Batsto Village. We'll keep a good pace as we hike along the Batona Trail to Quaker Bridge, have lunch, and return via the lovely Mullica River Trail. An ankle-deep water crossing is likely near the end. So, enjoy some green trees, quiet creeks, and easy, fast-paced walking in this winter wilderness. We may alter the route if there is significant snow, and

foul weather cancels the trip. This is a long hike while the days are short, so be prepared. Bring lunch, water, snacks. Hiking boots recommended. An optional dinner in nearby Hammonton is also possible. Meet at 9:00 AM at Visitor Center parking lot (39.644480, -74.646957). Meeting point for carpooling: #101 Trolley, Media-Orange Street Station at 7:30 AM (Departs 69th street at 7:00 AM). If you want to meet in Media, contact the leader by 8:00 PM on Friday, January 24.
