25 miles. Depart 69th Street at 6:45 AM. We take the trolley to Media to begin the hike. Hiking along trails, roads, fields, and forests on this traditional, annual, Thanksgiving Day hike, we will see the Brandywine Creek and the DuPont Estates. Return by train. Due to the length of this hike, it is considered to be fast paced and strenuous. There are very few places where one could decide to discontinue the hike.
