SUN. Feb 25 – 11 miles. For those using public transportation, take the 101 SEPTA trolley from 69th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:25 AM. For those driving, meet at 8:30 in front of Macy's at Springfield Mall (110 miles to trailhead). Hike in Delaware's largest state park along the bay and ocean with sand dunes, salt marshes, and pine woods. Hike can be done in sneakers but there may be a few wet spots. Bring lunch, water, and snacks. Cost: $1.00. If carpooling to trailhead, shared expenses include $0.10 per mile plus tolls.
