SUN Nov 5 – 12 miles. Join us for a loop hike on the Batona and Mullica River trails out of Batsto. We'll keep a good pace as we hike along the Batona Trail to Quaker Bridge, have lunch, and return via the lovely Mullica River trail. An ankle-deep water crossing is likely near the end. So, enjoy some green trees, quiet creeks, and easy fast-paced walking in this winter wilderness. We may alter the route if there is significant snow, and foul weather cancels the trip. This is a long hike while the days are short, so be prepared. An optional dinner in nearby Hammonton is also possible. Meet at Batsto Village 9 am. Meeting point for carpooling: Media, 101 Trolley on Orange Street at 7:30 am (Departs 69th Street at 7 am). Contact the leader by 8 pm on Friday, November 3 if you want to meet in Media.
