9-10 miles. (50 miles to trailhead) For those using public transportation, take the 101 SEPTA trolley from 69th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:21 AM. For those driving, meet at 8:30 in front of Macy’s at the front of Springfield Mall. A beautiful winter hike in this 1790 acre park featuring Delaware’s largest fresh water pond, wooded areas & mostly level terrain. If weather is bad, call leader to confirm if hike will take place.
