6-8 miles. Meet at the Howell Living History Farm at 10:15 AM. Visit their website for directions and details at http://howellfarm.org. We will hike from the Farm and ascend to the wooded ridge-line of Baldpate Mountain where we will see the remains of an old farming community and view the scenery of the valley below. After a short break, we will return to the Howell Living History Farm for corn harvest day when the fields of ripening corn will be cut and shocked. Bring lunch or snacks and water. Cost $1.00. Leaders: Allen and Bette Male, 215-830-9829; (C) 267-733-7607 on day of hike.
