4.5 miles. Meet at 10:00 a.m. in parking lot at Bull's Island (40.410165, -75.036147). Hike from Bull's Island, NJ, to Carversville, PA, and back. We'll cross the walking bridge and hike up Old Carversville Rd (dirt) and stop at the Carversville store for a snack. Then down Fleecydale Rd (frequently unused and closed to traffic except local). Look for a Venus de Milo carved from a tree, a house made from a silo and a caboose, and a Frank LLoyd Wright original. Any ambitious walkers may join Peter and me for an extended walk on the towpath to Center Bridge, cross to Stockton, and enjoy a real lunch at Cravings. Then back to Bull’s Island.
