7 miles. If using public transportation, take the 101 SEPTA trolley from 69th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 9:25 (5 miles to trailhead). If driving meet at 10:15 at the bottom of Chapel Hill Road (39.945582, -75.421739). Park anywhere you can in this vicinity. This is a very popular park and it gets very busy on weekends. Hike on a mix of paved and dirt trails winding through this lovely park. Some of the hike will follow the picturesque Ridley Creek bed before heading into the hilly woodlands. Bring lunch and water.
