For those using public transportation leader will meet at the Elwyn-R3 Train Station at 9:50 AM (5 miles to trailhead) or in the parking lot of the Wawa Preserve at 10:15 on Valley Road (39.907707,-75.456920). Parking lot is about 200-300 yards from the intersection of US 1 and Valley Road (across from the old Franklin Mint). This is a network of trails in Middletown Township, Delaware County. The 98-acre Wawa Preserve is owned by Natural Lands Trust and operated in partnership with Middletown Township. Parts of the property were once used to graze cattle for the Wawa Dairy.
