FRANKLIN PARKER PRESERVE: FROM BOG TO WETLAND

10-12 miles. Meet at the parking lot on 532 across the road from Chatsworth Lake at 10:15 AM. If you need transportation from Woodbury, NJ let leader know by 6 PM on Saturday (NJ transit bus 412 leaves Market & 10th in Philadelphia @ 8:05 AM, arriving Hunter Street in Woodbury, NJ at 9:00 AM). Winter is an ideal time to see the forest and bogs-in-transition-to-wetland on beautiful trails. FPP is home to a variety of hawks, tundra swans, eagles, and other birds, foxes, and endangered bobcats. FPP is a new and crucial conservation link in the Pinelands Reserve. Bring lunch and water.
