8.5 miles (or less if you choose to do so) At 10:00 a.m. we’ll take one of the best urban walks in the U.S: Down Kelly Drive to the Art Museum, (watching the regatta), cross the river to MLK Drive and then walk back to East Falls. We’ll meet at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 3822 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia. Directions: From the Schuylkill Expressway and City Avenue, take Exit 340A Lincoln Drive/Kelly Drive. Stay in the far left lane and follow signs for Ridge Ave East/Kelly Drive. At the bottom of the exit ramp, go straight onto Kelly Drive. Drive past the third light at S. Ferry Road, and then turn left. Turn right almost immediately onto Ridge Ave. Drive southeast about 0.4 miles to the cemetery. Parking lot is across Ridge Ave. facing the entrance to the cemetery.
