5-6 miles. Meet other hiking groups from the Delaware Valley at 1:30 PM. Hike the start of the 141 mile Horse-Shoe Trail. Then have cider and cookies and help us celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Trail. Directions: From the intersection of Routes 23 and 252 in VFNHP, turn south onto 252. Drive past the covered bridge that is blocked off and continue on 252 a short distance to the large Knox Quarters parking lot on your right. OR, drive north on Route 252 from Route 202 and turn left into the Knox Quarters parking lot. Public Transportation: Take the SEPTA Bus # 125 bus from Philadelphia that arrives at the VFNHP Visitor Center at 1:04 PM. The Hike Leader will pick you up and drive you to the meeting point.
