9 - 10 miles. For those using public transportation, take the SEPTA 101 trolley from 69th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at this stop at 8:25 AM. For those driving, meet at 8:30 in front of Macy's at the front of Springfield Mall (50 miles to trailhead). A beautiful fall hike in this 1,757 acre park featuring Delaware’s largest fresh water pond, wooded areas & mostly level terrain. If weather is bad call leader to confirm if hike will take place.
