8-10 miles.  For those using public transportation, take the SEPTA 101 trolley from 69th Street to the Springfield Mall stop. Meet leader at stop at 9:25 AM. For those driving, meet in front of Macy’s (park under trees next to Baltimore Pike) at 9:30 AM For directions to trailhead, contact leader. These two, new green spaces in nearby Chester County provide easy/moderate hiking in a beautiful, varied farmland setting. Beginning at Rushton Woods Preserve, we'll hike 2 to 3 miles in that preserve, walk just over one mile to Okehocking Preserve and hike another 4 miles there. If we have enough cars, we can set up a shuttle back to Rushton Woods, or we can walk back. Bring lunch and water. Boots recommended because of some possible very muddy, wet spots. Cost: $1.00. Leader: Abbie Wysor, 610-742-5967, john-abbie@verizon.net
