7 miles. If coming by car, meet at the SEPTA Ambler parking lot (S. Main Street) of the Lansdale/Doylestown line at 10:45 AM. Expected train arrival at 10:54 AM. Bring lunch and water. We will hike a section of the Green Ribbon from Ambler to Ft. Washington State Park, circle the park and return, crossing a stepping stone bridge in the Wissahickon Valley Watershed property (See their website at wvwa.org/greenribbontrail for picture of stepping stone crossing.)
