BRANDYWINE CREEK STATE PARK, 19807 (28 Jun 2026)

12 miles. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at Smith's Bridge Parking Lot, FSNHP, Brandywine Creek Road (39.834530, -75.575592). If this lot is open, park there. If not, continue south on Brandywine Creek Road past that lot to a new, very large lot on the left (39.831024, -75.572320) which is just before the curve in the road. We'll cover well shaded trails through varied terrain, on both sides of Brandywine Creek and along Rocky Run, as we make a series of loops through this beautiful park. MANAYUNK STEPS, EVENING HIKE, 19127 (01 Jul 2026)

6 miles and 1500 steps. Depart 7:00 p.m. from Wissahickon Station parking lot, 5051 Ridge Avenue (40.016436, -75.210365). Come out and do the "ups" and "downs" of Manayunk on many sets of steps. PORT CLINTON TO AUBURN LOOKOUT ON THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL, 19549 (11 Jul 2026)

6.4 miles. Meet at 10:00 a.m. at the AT Parking Lot (N40 34.702, W76 01.444) on the southbound side of Route 61 in Port Clinton, PA 19549. Test yourself on a section of the Appalachian Trail that has up to 30 percent elevation grade as we go up to one of the AT's less visited scenic overlooks - the Auburn Lookout. We will return on the Appalachian Trail to Port Clinton. Bring snacks and water, lunch optional or can support local small business in nearby Hamburg. Hiking boots recommended. (40.633757, -75.960841), where the AT trail marker is located. Come and enjoy the views from the Pulpit and Pinnacle lookouts. Most of the time we will be on the Appalachian Trail with a bypass to the Hamburg reservoir. Bring lunch, snacks, and water.
